I'll be honest, I hesitated. I've had cheap multi-port chargers get uncomfortably warm and I wasn't leaving one plugged in overnight in a bedroom. Opened the box and read the protections listed on the side — over-temperature, short circuit, overvoltage, overload. It's stayed cool with four things on it. That peace of mind was most of what I was paying for and I'd pay it again.

Small apartment, one desk, and that desk is also where I eat. I didn't have room for a charging tray or a dock. This thing is about the size of a paperback and it's flat on top, so my phone sits on it while it charges off the side. Everything I own charges from one square of desk. Two hundred-ish for that much space back is honestly cheap.

I work off two laptops — work machine and personal — and I was swapping one charger between them like a caveman. Bought it for travel more than the desk. My old kit was three chargers and an adapter in a pouch, and I always forgot one. Now it's this and a handful of cables. The little blue light is a stupid detail to care about but I care about it. Chunky right-angle cables were the thing that broke my last charger — the ports were too close together and I could only use every other one. The spacing here handles my thick braided cables side by side without them shoving each other out. Sounds minor until you've fought with it. All ten ports are actually usable, which is the whole point.
